"Raising bunny money and bun funds for rabbits in need."
About The Sweet Bunny Project
In 2012 a Non-Profit Organization for rabbits called The Sweet Bunny Project was created. The goal is to spread awareness for domestic rabbits and rabbit shelters and rescues. They help promote these places and rabbits on their web page and Facebook, also donating artwork to charity auctions to help those shelters raise funds.
"This all began in 2005 when a sweet mini-rex bunny entered my life. His name was Bunsworth. He was a wonderful companion, opening my eyes and heart, showing me unconditional love and happiness. Everyday I looked forward to being with my little buddy, and having adventures and fun together.
In 2008, Bunsworth hopped across the Rainbow Bridge... I think he was needed there as part of a bigger cosmic plan, something that I'll never fully understand. When he left I made a promise, to help other bunnies to find love, and forever homes and live a life deserving of the angels they are.
Finally in 2012, I was able to put that promise into motion, and The Sweet Bunny Project was born. We hope to continue our work in raising rabbit awareness and providing funding to rabbit shelters and rescues in need."
